I almost leave this book after the introduction. It doesn't do the usual "here's what you'll learn" song and dance, and the tone is more subdued than I expected from a book about selling. By the end of Chapter 1, I'd stopped checking my phone. By Chapter 4, I was taking notes. The author doesn't sell you on his ideas — he just lays out the evidence and lets you decide. That's rare. I'm now actively recommending it to every product person I know, especially those who think they've already figured out pricing and upsells. They probably haven't.
